We are seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join an international application development and DevSecOps team. The role combines Java-based backend development, frontend technologies, application integration, automated testing, and support of CI/CD delivery processes.

You will participate in the development and maintenance of enterprise applications based on Java, microservices, REST APIs, messaging technologies, and modern DevOps practices. The position is suitable for a junior-to-mid-level engineer who already has practical software development experience and is interested in expanding their knowledge of full-stack development and DevSecOps.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java 8+.
• Design and implement object-oriented and microservice-based solutions.
• Develop backend components using Spring Boot, Java EE, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Develop and maintain frontend functionality using JSP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Design, consume, test, and maintain REST APIs.
• Work with JSON and XML data formats.
• Support application integration through JMS, message queues, and Kafka.
• Write and maintain SQL queries for application and data-support purposes.
• Participate in DevOps and DevSecOps activities related to application builds and deployments.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git, Maven, and Bamboo.
• Apply test-driven development practices and create automated tests.
• Support application releases, deployments, troubleshooting, and defect resolution.
• Work with Apache POI for processing Microsoft Excel files.
• Follow secure coding principles and OWASP Top 10 recommendations.
• Maintain technical documentation and track development activities in Jira.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, testers, and other technical stakeholders.
• Use AI-based coding assistants where appropriate to improve development productivity.

Requirements

• Practical experience in software development using Java 8 or newer.
• Good understanding of object-oriented design and development principles.
• Experience with microservices and enterprise application development.
• Knowledge of Spring Boot and/or Java EE.
• Experience with JPA and Hibernate.
• Experience with JSP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of Maven and Git.
• Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
• Basic to intermediate SQL skills, including the ability to write read and update queries.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and exposure to automated delivery pipelines.
• Experience with automated testing or test-driven development.
• Knowledge of messaging and integration technologies such as JMS, message queues, or Kafka.
• Familiarity with application security principles, secure coding, and OWASP Top 10.
• Ability to work with Apache POI for Excel file processing.
• Familiarity with Jira or another issue-tracking tool.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within an international Agile and DevOps environment.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
